Selecting Chart Type

Tickerplant Chart allows the user to plot various types of chart like:

  • Line

  • Bar

  • Candlestick

  • Smoothened Candle Stick

  • Point

  • Histogram

  • Mountain

This can be done by a right click on the required chart as displayed. Below is the image displaying the various available chart types.

Tickerplant Chart allows the user to plot the data for the required choice of interval/period (Daily, Weekly, Tick By Tick, Minutes, Hourly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, etc...) through the drop down menu in menu bar.

As displayed on the left, the combination of these two menus will display the required data in chart form.

  • Daily: Displays the data on daily basis/ a candle of whole day

  • Weekly: Displays the data on weekly basis/ a candle of whole week

  • Tick By Tick: Displays each Tick received.

  • Minute: Displays the data on Minute basis/ a candle of each minute

  • Hour: Displays the data on Hourly basis/ a candle for each hour

  • X-Days: Show the data on input interval basis. The interval specified will be considered while forming a candle e.g. If we input 5 then open will be the open value of 1st day and close will be the closing value of 5th day. The high and low value will be highest and lowest value for the 5 days in case of X Days. Same logic will be followed in case of X Tick and X Minute.
