Using symbol synchronization feature

The symbol synchronization feature enables you to link the Market Watch, Online Bulk Deal, Market Eye and Strategy Tracker windows to Chart, Get Quote, Market Depth, Time & Sales and Pivot Point calculator windows

Effectively on activating the link feature, a subsequent click on any row / symbol in a linked window (Market Watch, Online Bulk Deal, Market Eye or Strategy Tracker) will simultaneously update the respective information for that particular symbol or scrip in the linked Chart, Get Quote, Market Depth, Time & Sales and Pivot Point calculator window in a worksheet

The news window opened on right click in Market Watch and Get Quote windows can be individually linked / unlinked on right click as an alternative to the ‘Link All’ option in module list

To activate symbol synchronization feature

1. Click the link tab (with tooltip ‘Link All’ ) on the module list
   
   

2. All the existing windows ( as mentioned above) in a worksheet will be linked
   
   

3. Now on click of any symbol in an existing Market Watch, Market Eye or Bulk Deal window the corresponding information for that particular symbol will simultaneously update in Get Quote, Chart, Market Depth, Time & Sales, Pivot Point calculator window linked in the same worksheet
   
   As can be seen in the above image, on click of the script 'CIPLA' corresponding information related to it is simultaneously displayed in the linked get quote and chart windows. Note that chart of different intraday durations also update simultaneously

4. You may unlink any individual window by clicking the tab ‘Unlink’ present in the header of that window
   
   

5. You also have the flexibility to link any two windows without having to link all applicable windows by default
   
   Instead of clicking the link option in module list you may click the link option (available in the window header) individually in two or more windows in order to link them

6. The news window opened on right click in Market Watch or Get Quote window can be linked either on right click and selecting the ‘Link’ option or on click of ‘Link All’ option in module list

7. Any newly opened windows can be additionally linked on click of ‘Link All’ option in module list, in case all the applicable windows in a worksheet need to be linked or by individually linking each of the newly opened windows as mentioned above
