Applying Column Profile

The Column Profile tab allows you to choose the column profile to be applicable to any subsequent MarketWatch windows opened.

1. Click Tools > Preferences.
   The Preferences window is displayed.

2. Click Column Profile.
   The Column Profile tab is displayed.

   

3. In Select Default Column Profile > Column Profile, choose the column profile to be set as default.

4. Click OK.
    Your settings are saved.

Applying column profile with respect to MS Excel

1. Click Tools > Preferences.
   The Preferences window is displayed.

2. Click Column Profile.
   The Column Profile tab is displayed.

   

3. In Select Default Column Profile > Column Profile, choose the excel column profile to be set as default.
   
   All the user created column profiles are available in the dropdown. Upon selecting a particular column profile, the same can be made applicable by default independently in Market Watch and Excel i.e. the user may choose to have a different or same set of fields to be available by default in Market Watch and Excel.

4. Click OK.
   Your settings are saved.
